Vermont Triangle Ribbon-Cutting
Please join us on Thursday, Nov. 20th at 9:30 a.m. for the ribbon-cutting on the Vermont Triangle urban design project. The concrete traffic triangle at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd. and Vermont and Prospect avenues has been transformed into a community green space with seating, lighting, trees and grass. This is a project of Councilmember LaBonge, the Community Redevelopment Authority and the Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Council.
Join Us for another Griffith Park Clean-Up
Please join Tom and the CD4 staff for our monthly Griffith Park Clean-Up tomorrow, Sat., Nov. 8 at 8:30 a.m. Meet us at the Charlie Turner Trailhead at the north end of the Griffith Observatory parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Tomorrow's event is the latest in a series of volunteer efforts to restore Griffith Park in the wake of the devastating fire of May, 2007.
