North Hollywood Recreation Center Lighting

The North Hollywood Recreation Center rehab project will provide lighting repairs and electrical upgrades as necessary, as well as renovation of the gymnasium.

Construction on this project is currently underway.

DeLongpre Park

This project will bring new play equipment, lighting and fencing to DeLongpre park, as well as a new asphalt pathway.

Wattles Park

Tiara Street Intergenerational Center

Designs are underway for a 2,200-square-foot intergenerational center, a community park with a new playground, picnic areas, a 22-car parking lot, an outdoor amphitheater, and board game area on Tiara Street. This $2.1 million project will be built on a 1.56-acre property that is currently undeveloped. Construction is expected to be completed by next year.

Wattles Mansion Site Improvements

The site of the historic Wattles Mansion in Hollywood will see planting and irrigation restoration in the lower gardens around the mansion, and design of a new parking lot.

The project is no longer in the pre-design phase, and design is pending.

West Wilshire/Pan Pacific Park Misc. Improvements - Phase II

This part of a two-phase series of improvements includes decking at the swimming pool, and additional improvements to the athletic fields, swimming pool, or recreation center.

The project is currently in the pre-design phase.

Robert Burns Park Facility Enhancements

Fern Canyon Restoration

Fern Canyon was one of the great natural treasures destroyed in the fire of May 8, 2007.

Trail restoration, irrigation, improvement of amenities, and planting are currently under way at the site.
